I have been collecting Anonymous Folles (commonly called “Jesus coins”) for many years and have decided to pass them on to those who love them as I do.  Please check my listings as I will be offering many superb Folles in the coming days.

History of these coins:
During the later period of the Roman empire Christianity began to replace paganism.  This change
was reflected in Roman coinage.  Gone were the images of emperors replaced instead with images of Jesus Christ and religious inscriptions called “Christo grams”.  The reverse side of the coin offered here carries a typical Christo gram:

There are some 16 Classifications for these coins.  Each Class is distinguished by its markings, size,
and weight.  The coin offered here is classed as a “B” and has the following characteristics:
