Sarah Irvine
was a highly respected and  talented artist for Newcomb and she produced an outstanding quality piece of art pottery with
the mat glaze vase of Red or PinK Roses against a blue backxgrsound. The vase shows a high degree of depth and range in her rending of red roses and leaves. This designed vase  provides a view of  colors
around the entire round piece.  The overall design is truly wonderful  work of hand painting by this Newcomb artist!  This vase is 6 1/2″ talTall by 6 3/4
” wide  at the widest point. The base is marked with  the Newcomb symbol along with the artist mark SI for
Sarah Irvine Craftsman or Artist, PS25, KF(1919) on the base
