    Lot of two rare rooter’s souvenirs from the NCAA college football game between the United States Military Academy West Point Cadets and the University of Pennsylvania Quakers, played before a capacity crowd of 78,000 at Franklin Field on November 13, 1948. Penn entered the contest ranked 17th nationally with a 5-1 record, Army had a 7-0 record and a #3 national ranking. The visitors, coached by Earl Blaik, won, 26-20.
    Following a 21-21 tie vs. Navy, Army completed its 1948 season undefeated (8-0-1), ranked 6th in the nation, and winning the Lambert Trophy as best football team in the East for the fourth time in five years. Penn, coached by George Munger, ended the season 5-3.
