    Description
    Hand carved Carnelian shell cameo is framed in what I am sure is a silver frame with 12 small marcasite stones, all of which are present.  This is the only cameo of a flapper that I have seen which is why I have priced it as I have.
    The cameo
    measures 24x29mm while the cameo and frame measures 1-11/16 by 15/16″ with a 1/4″ bail that folds down.
    The pendant has some sort of stamp on the back of the frame.  I cannot determine exactly what is stamped, but I am certain the metal is silver of some level of purity.
    What an heirloom worthy piece!!!

    Five years ago, I had gastric bypass surgery.  Since then, I have lost 110 pounds!  Every pound is still gone!  However, one bad outcome has resulted from the surgery.  I went a little overboard buying new clothes and shoes.  Did I say a little?  Four closets of clothes is a ‘little’ overboard, don’t you think?  It is time to let go of some of them, primarily, the ‘dress-up’ clothes.
